Associate Developer

Service-now.com, a San Diego based software development company, is seeking Associate Developers to capitalize on the company's momentum and help build a new market in On Demand IT service and asset management solutions.

Responsibilities

The Associate Developer will be responsible for supporting Service-now.com customers in the successful use of our software, including coaching, customization and tailoring to meet their unique business requirements.

This particular position is in the Customer Development group, a small group who works directly with both customer administrators and our own developers. There is some limited phone support involved.

Skills
  • Working knowledge of networks, the Internet, modern protocols and email, SMTP, POP3
  • Scripting knowledge such as JavaScript, CSS, XML
  • Experience with legacy systems, batch files, web services, via APIs is a plus
  • HTML and XHTML
  • Active Directory, LDAP
  • AJAX experience
  • Working knowledge of relational databases
Experience

The ideal candidate is currently working in IT as a Systems Administrator or similar function, a recent college graduate, or a developer with 1-2 years of experience. Strong communication skills are essential

Opportunity

Those we hire will be trained and mentored in these technologies as appropriate by our senior staff and work to support the technical sales team. Location

The job is in Solana Beach, California. No remote employees or relocation offered.

Reporting Structure

Reports directly to the Manager of Customer Support.

Salary

Annual salary commensurate with experience of selected candidate.
