Frank Slootman

Chief Executive Officer


Frank brings 25 years of experience as an enterprise software entrepreneur and executive to ServiceNow. As the CEO of Data Domain, Frank blazed new trails creating a high-growth enterprise storage company that went public on NASDAQ in 2007. After Data Domain was acquired in 2009 by EMC, Frank went on to serve for 18 months as a division executive at EMC. Prior to joining Data Domain in 2003, Frank was senior vice president of product operations at Borland Software where he ran the company's engineering and product management function. Frank also spent seven years at Compuware as general manager of UNIFACE in Amsterdam and general manager of the EcoSystems division in Campbell, Calif. He started his career at Burroughs Corporation in Detroit and holds undergraduate and graduate degrees from the Netherlands School of Economics, Erasmus University Rotterdam in his native Holland.



Fred Luddy

Chief Product Officer


Fred founded ServiceNow in early 2004 and now serves as Chief Product Officer. Prior to ServiceNow, Fred was employed at Peregrine Systems from 1990 to 2003 where he held the position of Chief Technology Officer (note that during that time Peregrine also owned the Remedy Corporation, subsequently sold to BMC). Prior to Peregrine, Fred founded Enterprise Software Associates (ESA), and worked at Boole and Babbage, and the Amdahl Corporation. His products are used by thousands of corporations worldwide and have generated revenue well in excess of one billion dollars.


At the age of eighteen, his very first software program automated supply chain and maintenance purchasing processes for a business unit of American Standard. Later work involved writing an operating system competing with IBM's mainframe offering, performance and management improvements to the IBM mainframe environment, a PC video conferencing / collaboration system, and UNIX / Linux based application development environments.



Arne Josefsberg

Chief Technology Officer


As chief technology officer at ServiceNow, Arne is responsible for leading continued improvements to the ServiceNow platform and driving expansion of the company's cloud strategy. He joins ServiceNow after more than 25 years with Microsoft where he most recently served as general manager of Windows Azure Infrastructure. During his tenure, Arne led strategy, design and operation of the online infrastructure that forms the foundation for Microsoft's online businesses. As a member of the MSN 1.0 launch team, Arne gained early knowledge of cloud services business building complex data centers and network infrastructure on a global scale. Arne holds a Master of Science degree in Physics from the Lund Institute of Technology, Sweden.



Michael Scarpelli

Chief Financial Officer


Michael is responsible for leading the company's financial management functions. He brings to ServiceNow extensive experience as a CFO at numerous public companies including Data Domain, Lexar Media and HPL, and most recently served as Senior Vice President, Finance and Business Operations at EMC. Prior to his CFO roles, Michael spent 12 years at PriceWaterhouseCoopers as a software audit partner.



David Schneider

Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales and Services


David has more than 20 years of experience in sales and sales management. Prior to joining ServiceNow, he was Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales at EMC BRS Division leading a $2 billion business. Before EMC acquired Data Domain, David served as Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales where he developed and executed the global sales strategy and oversaw all sales, pre-sales and professional services. Prior to Data Domain, David was with TogetherSoft Corporation (later acquired by Borland Software Corporation) where he was Vice President of Western United States Sales. From 1999 to 2002, Mr. Schneider served as Western Regional Manager of Iona Technologies, Inc. David graduated from the University of California, Irvine.



Rob Luddy

Vice President of Business Development


Rob is the Vice President of Business Development for ServiceNow. In this role, Rob works on defining and enabling new routes to market as well as serving as an executive sponsor to our most strategic prospects, customers and partners. Rob joined ServiceNow in 2005 as employee number five. For the first six years of commercial operations Rob led the global sales force and was thus charged with the annual development of the corporate revenue plan and global leadership of the sales force as well as the solution consulting and professional services organizations. Under Rob's leadership the company grew from start-up to more than $125 million in annual recurring revenue and unprecedented profitability. Prior to joining ServiceNow, Rob worked in a variety of sales and marketing roles at Peregrine Systems, closing his tenure there as the Area Vice President of Solutions Operations for EMEA. Rob is a graduate of Indiana University and a veteran of the United States Navy.



Dan McGee

Senior Vice President of Engineering


Dan is responsible for leading all aspects of product development and customer support. Dan brings more than 28 years of product development experience in a broad range of technologies and was previously Senior Vice President of Engineering for Data Domain where he led the team through rapid growth. Most recently at EMC, he was Senior Vice President of Engineering for the Backup Recovery Systems Division leading a team of more than 1200 engineers.



Beth White

Vice President of Marketing


Beth White has more than twenty years experience in worldwide marketing, product strategy and new business creation spanning enterprise software, server and storage systems, IT infrastructure and OEM components. Beth most recently spent eighteen months as Vice President of Marketing at EMC's Backup Recovery Systems Division. Prior to this, Beth served as Vice President of Marketing at Data Domain, where she led the team through rapid growth and the acquisition by EMC. Before joining Data Domain in 2006, Beth held Vice President of Marketing positions at Aarohi Communications and Vixel Corporation, both eventually acquired by Emulex Corporation. Prior to these, Beth was Vice President of Product Marketing and Management at Borland Corporation, was a Senior Partner at Global Accelerator and 54th Street Partners, and spent more than ten years in various global marketing roles at Hitachi Data Systems and Groupe Bull in France. Beth holds a BS in Business Administration from the University of Northern Arizona.



Shelly Begun

Vice President of Human Resources


Shelly joined ServiceNow in July of 2011 as vice president of human resources and is responsible for evolving the HR function to facilitate and drive the company's rapid growth. Shelly has more than 20 years experience in HR executive level positions within the high-tech industry. Most recently Shelly was responsible for human resources for the BRS division of EMC following the acquisition of Data Domain where she was the VP of HR. She has also held VP level positions with Simplex Solutions, Xilinx and Actel Corporation.
